Mandi Blanchette
Lead Designer/Owner
Axis Design Consulting principal designer, Mandi Blanchette, has been in the design industry for over a decade. She graduated from the highly accredited interior design program at the Design Institute of San Diego, but her passion for interiors began long before that. Over the course of her career she’s created custom luxury designs in San Diego, Orange County, the Coachella Valley and the SF Bay Area. Mandi’s work has been published in various print including Sunset Magazine, Luxury Home Quarterly, Modern Decoration Home & CA Home + Design.
What sets Mandi apart from other designers is her ability to set her own style aside and come up with a look that suits the client’s needs and aesthetic desires. She will work closely with your architect or builder to design a unique space that enhances the character of your home. By attending furniture and design Markets in High Point, NC and Las Vegas, NV, Mandi adds value to your design with high end furniture and decor. When traveling, Mandi utilizes her experiences to research all aspects of design. Some of her influential destinations have been Paris, Florence, London, Barcelona, and Prague.
Although Mandi is available for projects of all scopes of work, her expertise is in full scale remodels. Designing a unifying look throughout the home, inside and out is what produces the most beautiful finished product.
When Mandi’s not working, you can find her at her daughters’ activities or traveling with her family. Mandi truly believes that if you love what you do, you’ll never work a day in your life!
Stephanie Sullivan
Design Associate
Stephanie received a design degree from Point Loma Nazarene University. Her design aesthetic is timeless and transitional, while always focusing on casual living. To bring life to each space she creates, she loves layering different materials and textures. It’s important to her that design be not only beautiful, but functional. Stephanie’s favorite part of each job is meeting new people and creating special, lasting connections with the clients.
In her free time she can be found spending time with her husband and 3 kids, hands-on interior remodeling with her dad, hiking and traveling.
Avy Perry
Design Associate
Originally from Israel, Avy’s whole life, she’s been involved with Art as a painter, sculptor and has a background in cinema, which gave her an artist’s point of view in paying attention to small details. Organizing subjects in the space and choosing which colors, patterns and textures to combine in order to express the emotions and ideas is her passion.
Avy was exposed to different styles and cultures when she traveled around the world and back. From the Mediterranean to the European style, all the way to Western modern, traditional and Spanish style - she gained the knowledge and research needed to create interesting designs for all different types of styles. These experiences reflect in the work and projects that Avy accomplishes.
Angela Dimalanta
Design Associate
Angela’s love for Art and Design began when she first took a pencil and paper and learned how to draw a three-dimensional cube in elementary school. From there it has opened a whole new world of creativity. As an artist and designer, she finds inspiration all around but mostly from the natural forms of nature. She attended San Diego State University and earned her Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts emphasizing in Interior Design.
Angela’s favorite style of design is modern with a touch of bohemian and loves to incorporate organic elements whenever possible. She also loves to play around with color and different types of materials to bring a space to life. Her favorite parts of design are listening to each client’s vision and bringing them to life and selecting finishes and materials.
On her down time, Angela loves spending time with her husband and twin girls at the beach, pool, theme parks, or watching a movie.
